The Grocer Gold Awards 2016 took place on Tuesday 14 June, at the grand Guildhall in London. It was a wonderful evening had by all, with everyone celebrating what has been a fantastic year in the FMCG sector.
The evening was hosted by Simon Callow (best known for his roles in Amadeus, Ace Ventura and Four weddings and a Funeral) and The Grocer Editor, Adam Leyland, who proudly announced the winners of the evening.
With 27 Grocer Gold Awards to be won, it was extremely difficult to select the overall winners. Such great wins were Asda for The Grocer 33 Price award, Aldi won Grocer of the Year for the third time in four years, and Greencore took home the award for Own-Label Supplier of the Year
Every year brings a new competition - The Grocer Gold Awards 2017 will be open for entries in January 2017.
